He is a medical doctor with a formal qualification M.C.P.S. (community medicine) Member of College of Physicians & surgeons Karachi, Pakistan, 1997,   M.B. B.S. University of Punjab, 1985, Lahore, Pakistan and M.Sc. Community Health & Nutrition, Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad, Pakistan.  Dr. Khan is   development professional and has more than thirty (30) years progressive experience in media management, communication, education, health services delivery, social development and health Education. Dr. Khan always aspires for intellectual work and presented his work at various national and international conferences. He has an excellent understanding of contemporary religions and delivers lectures. Dr. Khan has worked with various UN agencies and development partners throughout his professional experiences and has been associated with public/ private sector organizations and various donors sponsored initiatives in the field of program management, organizational development and institutional capacity building, as well as social research and analysis..  Capacity assessment, curriculum designing, organizing training programs for stakeholders, as well as multi-layered coordination with partner organizations and government entities are some of his potential areas of expertise. He is currently working as medical professional with DAs. Dr. Khan is a civil servant of grade PBS 20.
